Amber Film Distribution was set up in 2016 and aims to provide curated and project-specific distribution solutions for producers who want to release films in the UK & Ireland.

 

perfectmotion set up Amber after experiences of distributing three documentary features in the UK & Ireland, ‘Knockout Scousers’, the Grierson Nominated ‘The Man Whose Mind Exploded’ and in 2016 ‘Gary Numan: Android in La La Land’ which has been a strong favourite on the international film festival circuit including premieres at SXSW, Hotdocs, EIFF and MIFF.

 

Android In La La Land was presented at over 50 screens in UK & Ireland to 4**** reviews including Guardian, Times, Express & Total Film and has shown strong returns on DVD.  Sales have been bolstered by a variety of merchandise and the film has recently been sold to the BBC.

Amber’s aim is to provide a highly efficient, cost-effective and tailored campaign to help producers not only get their film seen by as many people as possible, but also to return revenues.
