In the Company of Kings follows two filmmakers on a pilgrimage to meet their boxing heroes and to hear their stories of struggle and hope first hand. Stories that address the extremities of human endeavour, the glory and the damage - the price of the prize. The film was initiated and inspired by a brutal and racially motivated attack, an attack that left one of the filmmakers Robert Douglas, part blinded and suffering from PTSD.
